Avatr, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer renowned for its innovative electric cars, is expanding its reach into Nepal with the introduction of the Avatr 11 all-electric SUV. Recently, four units of the Avatr 11 SUV were dispatched from Avatr's plant in China to the Kerung/Rasuwagadhi border port.

Established in 2018 by Changan New Energy and Nio, Avatr changed its ownership structure over time. Nio's share was later acquired by CATL, which now holds 17% of the company, while Changan retains a 40% stake. Huawei serves as the primary supplier for Avatr. The company's product lineup includes the Avatr 11 SUV and Avatr 12 electric SUVs.
